The Foundation

Is there not but one foundation upon which we all do build;
the embrace of mutual adoration between parent and child?
Does this not compose the beginning and end of all desires,
which, if we should replace with another, leaves us exiled?

Then again the returning, accomplished with but a smile,
affirming in this moment what we have known all the while,
that our riches are within us, even though around us we see,
perfection's evolving scenes given to children, each of these।
